I went in expecting something like an adaptation of *The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy*, but it turned out to be a program that manages to be goofy, enjoyable, and nonsensical simultaneously. There was no need for that scene with the giant Bigfoot feces; it felt unnecessary. The decisions made regarding the present-day Pentaverate members seemed strange and foolish. Are these the people who are supposedly responsible for preserving global safety? It’s peculiar. The narrative rewards those who are kind and well-intentioned, which is something I appreciate.
