It's yet another crime drama centered on police work and inspired by actual events, featuring a committed but imperfect detective and his group of investigators. The writing was sharp, and the actors performed well enough to keep me engaged throughout. I wasn’t entirely convinced that some of the investigative paths they pursued were as solid as portrayed. I even questioned their confident declaration of having solved it. Perhaps this was due to prioritizing dramatic impact, and there simply wasn't enough time within the limited run to show every piece of information that ultimately built a convincing case for court. Regardless of its strengths and shortcomings, I found the series enjoyable—and isn’t that really the main goal?
