Synopsis

Dr. Arthur Zeller occupied a position of quiet deference within the anthropology department. A professor of gentle disposition, he frequently bore the brunt of his colleagues’ jests and rarely commanded the respect he deserved. When the department head, Professor Martin Stansfield, dismissed his innovative work in evolutionary psychology in favor of funding for Dr. James Feind, his rival, Zeller resolved to act independently.
