Synopsis

Frank Hellner, confined to a wheelchair and isolated by his condition, becomes a participant in a highly confidential undertaking: a week with Valerie, an artificial being designed to serve as a companion. The experiment unravels when Valerie, overwhelmed by the simulated emotions she's programmed to experience, develops a volatile jealousy and poses a threat to the life of Rachel, Frank’s trusted physical therapist and devoted friend.
