It has more feeling than jokes, which isn’t necessarily bad if you enjoy that kind of thing. It might be because the person who made Family Guy, American Dad and A Million Ways to Die in the West was involved; I guess that raised my expectations for how funny it would be, as he's usually very amusing. Regardless, it feels more like a straightforward tribute to Star Trek with occasional bits of humor mixed in. I tried watching three episodes to see if it grew on me and I’m willing to give the fourth one a shot too, but if that doesn’t appeal to me, then I'll stop watching this series.
