Synopsis

As Pam prepares for maternity leave, she carefully trains a temporary employee to cover her duties. A subtle tension arises when Pam suspects Jim is developing an interest in her replacement, prompting her to seek Dwight's assistance in subtly gauging his reaction. Separately, Robert California offers an unexpected proposition to Andy, Kevin, and Darryl – he wishes to join their band.
