Synopsis

Pam’s patience with Michael was wearing thin, particularly regarding his inability to commit to a desk chair. Though frustrating, his hesitation stemmed from a recent distraction: a burgeoning infatuation with the woman showcasing the chair in the catalogue. He’d often remind her, with a touch of self-deprecating humor, that the dinner party had, in effect, restored him to a state of bachelorhood.
