Love blossoms readily in Newport. It’s a night brimming with beginnings. With newfound freedom to pursue affection, Ryan and Marissa arrange their first proper date. Kirsten witnesses her father with a woman she doesn't know, and a sense of unease settles in; she fears Sandy has also found companionship elsewhere. Meanwhile, Seth actively pursues a girl, only to find himself captivated by someone else entirely.
