Synopsis

With her aunt Freida’s finances depleted, Fran finds herself facing an unexpected houseguest as Freida moves into the Sheffield residence. The only solution to this predicament seems to be convincing Freida’s affluent boyfriend, Fred, to propose. Unsure of his own charm, Fred isn't naturally inclined toward romantic gestures, so Fran decides to remedy this by offering him dance lessons. The lesson takes a turn when Fred suffers a heart attack, collapsing onto Fran just as Freida enters the room.
