Synopsis

A bolt of lightning, sprung from one of Grandpa's inventions, struck Herman directly in the head. The shock left him terribly disfigured, his features twisting into a startling resemblance to Officer Francis Muldoon from *Car 54, Where Are You?*—or, as it might be, Fred Gwynne without his characteristic makeup. Lily clung to the hope that plastic surgery could somehow return Herman to his former appearance.
