Synopsis

Herman attempted to instruct Eddie regarding the dangers of wagering, an effort he pursued by taking the money from Eddie's piggy bank and placing a bet on an unlikely contender at the racetrack. The horse, against all expectation, proved victorious, thereby undermining Herman’s intended lesson and drawing him into dealings with criminal organizations.
