Synopsis

Ashiya, hearing of Abeno’s impending visit to a purveyor of remedies in the Underworld, requested passage. Abeno, hesitant to bring a human into that realm, initially refused. However, the Mononokean's earnest plea swayed his decision. Though burdened by concern for Ashiya's safety, Abeno cautioned him against venturing alone. Yet, Ashiya, as he so often did, found himself unable to honor that warning.
