Synopsis

Davy receives a horse, a gift that necessitates a clandestine effort by the Monkees to conceal it from their landlord, Mr. Babbitt (Henry Corden). The animal eventually finds its way back to a grieving child (Kerry MacLane) and her father (Jim Boles), after Davy triumphs in a race against the father's neighbor, astride the very horse in question. Veteran character actor Jerry Colonna, a familiar presence in Bob Hope productions, portrays veterinarian Doctor Mann.
