Synopsis

Driven by a manic ambition, the scientist John Hoyt commissions the Monkees to instruct his monstrous creation, played by Richard Kiel, in the art of music. Subsequently, he attempts to transplant the band's newfound musical aptitude directly into the creature himself. The question then becomes: can the Monkees reclaim their own abilities? Byron Foulger lends a touch of eccentricity as Groot, Dr. Mendoza’s assistant.
