Mindy’s excitement bubbled as she envisioned a relaxed evening with the guys at MoMA. A “boy’s night out,” they’d called it. But the reality was a jarring departure from her expectations. Instead of art and quiet contemplation, she found herself amidst the roar of a crowd, the scent of sweat and adrenaline thick in the air. The hushed reverence of a gallery had been replaced by the brutal spectacle of an MMA fight, and Mindy felt profoundly out of place.
