Synopsis

Captain Stubing felt a prickle of unease at the arrival of his brother, a man whose reputation for deception preceded him. It seemed the con artist had his eye on one of the ship’s more affluent passengers. Elsewhere, a woman employed a computer to meticulously search for an ideal father for her child, and discreetly shadowed her chosen candidate throughout the voyage. Meanwhile, Julie’s widowed aunt found herself drawn to a gentleman who stirred memories of her departed husband.
