The Letter for the King presents itself as an expansive fantasy story geared toward teenage viewers. Initially, the initial episodes felt drawn out and moved at a leisurely pace; however, things became considerably more engaging as the show progressed. While the development in episode five lacked any real shock value, the second reveal close to the finale—discovering that it was the girl, not the boy, who possessed the ability—completely took me by surprise! I couldn’t believe such an unexpected turn of events. Each installment proved worthwhile. Now, the big question is whether a subsequent season will be produced.
