The show's initial concept was captivating enough to get me hooked, and it sustains interest throughout the debut season. It provides enjoyable and straightforward entertainment; I wouldn’t anticipate groundbreaking originality or exceptional cleverness, but the characters are distinct and their actions feel purposeful, and the individual stories are skillfully written and generally logical. Very few programs manage to achieve this standard. However, beginning with the second season, the reliance on implausible plot devices grows significantly, seemingly just to prolong the series. I was let down by what happened in the second season, so I skipped ahead through the third, only glancing at synopses and key moments for the remainder of it. My advice would be to view the first season, possibly even the second if you're invested in the setup, then simply disregard any unresolved issues at the end and acknowledge that the storyline concludes there. As far as I can tell, nothing valuable is lost by stopping after the first season.
