Synopsis

A crime committed in the late hours casts a shadow over the Knick, compelling Robertson to consider desperate measures. Lucy pushes boundaries in her pursuit of medicine for Thackery, who grows increasingly desperate; his request for an advance from a purveyor of patent remedies is met with indifference. Gallinger grows disheartened by Eleanor’s increasingly unpredictable conduct, while Cornelia and Edwards offer contrasting approaches to a problem they both face.
