It's unlike any police procedural series I’ve encountered; exceptionally calm and understated. The detective leading the investigation was remarkably reserved, rarely displaying anger—a departure from what you typically see in this genre. The setting and general feel weren't quite what I anticipated for a show originating outside of the country. That wasn’t a significant flaw, though. While it lessened my engagement with the series, it also set it apart enough to hold my interest. Apparently, the story draws from a real-life event, and I imagine most studios would have heightened the drama with more frantic action and shouting. The main character did face familiar personal struggles stemming from his commitment, but in this instance, it involved his daughter instead of a partner.
