The initial moments were rough. The story begins with an exposed body, which is jarring. The individuals watching this event seem visibly upset, but remain present even without any security nearby. There has to be a reason for that, though it would have been better if that reason had been presented beforehand rather than later—as some viewer trying to make sense of what’s happening. Things then decline further: there's excessive dialogue and unoriginal visuals. It relies on tired Hollywood tropes; wearing a lab coat is equated with intelligence, equipment suggests scientific work, and late-night hours imply an imminent discovery. Additionally, the performances are so weak that it requires artificial visual cues to compensate. The casting choices were poor, and the actors don’t seem capable of handling the material.
