Synopsis

Alex Polizzi journeys to Southport, a Merseyside seaside town, to assist a couple struggling with their beachfront venture. John and Mel have launched a craft ale bar and embarked on the ambitious project of converting the upper floors into a guest house, despite lacking any prior experience. With the building resembling a construction site rather than a stylish hotel, Alex must roll up her sleeves and get to work, all before the first guests arrive in a matter of weeks.
