Sta-Lak returned to Amzot, driven by vengeance and accompanied by mechanical replicas of Igoo, Zok, and Tundro. He seized Dorno, Tara, and Zandor, compelling the others to follow him into his volcano stronghold. Despite their advanced design – the robotic Igoo whirling with a multitude of arms, and the aerial capabilities of the robot Tundro – the duplicates proved inferior to their living counterparts.
