Initially, the series seemed promising, featuring characters who were genuinely well-developed and left a lasting impression; figures like Dr. Glassman and Shaun, particularly, resonated with me. The actor portraying Shaun delivers an exceptional performance. It’s generally a worthwhile program, but its quality gradually declined following the first season due to the introduction of what I perceive as politically motivated messaging. Simultaneously, the storylines began to stretch believability, presenting scenarios involving able-bodied individuals forming romantic relationships with people who have disabilities or significant physical challenges—it simply doesn't feel authentic. Ultimately, my rating would be higher if these external influences hadn’t been incorporated into the narrative.
