I gave this series a chance with the initial episode, and I’m glad I did; it's easily the best program of the autumn lineup so far. The actor portraying Dr. Murphy is remarkable and seems ideally suited to the role. This show has elicited laughter from me, brought me to tears, and taken me on an emotional journey—all within just the first season. It’s a plea to network executives: please renew Doctor Murphy for another run. I anticipated watching yet another predictable medical drama, but what I received was something significantly better than anything I could have hoped for.
