Synopsis

Marlott led a trembling Pritty to their meeting, a rendezvous with those who earned their living through killing. They descended into the tunnels beneath Smithfield Market, a labyrinthine network stretching from the Fortune of War pub to St Bart’s Hospital. Flora had returned to Marlott's rooms, and now, back within her reach, Marlott planned to use her as bait for the murderous gang, a course of action strongly opposed by Nightingale.
