Synopsis

Following his find along the Thames, Inspector Marlott sought out the home of artist and printmaker William Blake, finding him near death. Afterward, Marlott spoke with Nightingale, a local constable who had been observing The Fortune of War, a public house known to be a haunt for those who dealt in illicit bodies. Together, they devised a plan to apprehend a potential witness who might prove useful to their inquiries.
