This is a program that evokes a wide range of emotions, bringing tears, a sense of justification, and moments of joy. It’s disappointing to say that the quality of the scripts declined noticeably starting in parts of Season Two and continuing through the last season. It was quite unexpected that it received approval for another run after Season Three. I assume someone involved with funding is a big fan of The Flash? I made sure to watch every episode, mostly just so I could finish the story (and because I was eager to witness Iris’s relationship with Nora!!! – they certainly stretched that storyline out). Despite some worthwhile concepts, the writing itself was problematic.
