Synopsis

In Dallas, a man is fatally shot while shielding a friend from the chaos spilling out of a packed nightclub. With scant physical clues, Detective Robert Quirk must persuade hesitant witnesses to reveal the shooter's identity. Meanwhile, in Detroit, a pleasant spring day descends into tragedy when a basketball game explodes into violence. Officer Jo Ann Miller must methodically locate each player to uncover the source of the fatal gunfire.
