Synopsis

In the harsh light of day, a man is fatally shot at close range. Detective Freddie Ponce and his team, responding to the scene, trace a trail of blood leading them to an apartment complex, where they suspect the perpetrator is concealed. Meanwhile, Detectives Doug Lindle and Matthew Thompson are assigned to investigate the murder of a man who was shot outside his own apartment.
