Synopsis

In Kansas City, Missouri, a young man is discovered deceased within the confines of an apartment complex. With no discernible leads or witnesses to the event, Detective Ed Begley places his hopes on the victim's cell phone to illuminate the path to the killer. Meanwhile, in Memphis, Sergeant Caroline Mason finds a case taking on a deeply personal dimension when a woman is murdered in the very neighborhood where she spent her childhood.
