Synopsis

In Dallas, a young woman was discovered on a bed, the victim of a brutal attack: stabbed, beaten, and burned. Her twelve-year-old niece and mother had vanished. Lead Detective Dale Lundberg quickly discerned that this murder was deeply personal. Meanwhile, in Memphis, Sergeant Mitch Oliver investigated the death of a pool hustler found lifeless in a rundown motel room. The man’s car was missing, and Oliver clung to the hope that its recovery would lead him to the killer.
