The series proved passable; nothing exceptional, but not unpleasant either. It failed to generate any real scares, though the makeup effects were quite impressive, particularly during season two. Speaking of which, that second season represented a significant improvement, even if the final episode left something to be desired. I’ve noticed it seems common these days for television programs to conclude with unsatisfactory resolutions. Another point of frustration was the characters' apparent lack of intelligence; there were moments where their actions seemed illogical. For instance, one character exhibited obvious signs of possession through their appearance, yet her husband dismissed it as illness. Similarly, a man sustained bizarre injuries—holes in his chest from which bees emerged—and disregarded them entirely, choosing to proceed with his activities rather than seeking medical attention. Overall, the show was acceptable enough to watch.
