Synopsis

Mr. Munn’s realization that Mrs. Gibson, the school’s devoted bus driver of many years, had reached the mandatory retirement age transformed the celebratory gathering into a farewell. Adding to the bittersweet atmosphere, Ellen found herself unexpectedly tasked with driving the school bus, the position now vacant. Simultaneously, Ellen felt her mother was becoming increasingly eccentric. Dot, in particular, kept mentioning a beloved cat that Ellen had never encountered.
