Synopsis

Seeking to supplement their income, Louisa begins selling her cooking, an endeavor that draws the notice of a fellow Englishman. Yet, their peaceful life is soon shadowed by the reappearance of a former lover, casting a pall over the family’s contentment. Gerry conceives a scheme to cultivate otters, Leslie inadvertently discharges a shot that wounds Roger, and Margo contemplates a life of religious devotion.
