Synopsis

A deep friendship has blossomed this summer between Olivia and Estelle, a closeness that leaves the others in their circle feeling somewhat excluded. Meja suggests a post-school activity for everyone, but the stable holds a greater significance for Estelle and Olivia. The arrival of Ludwig, a ninth-grade boy with striking good looks and plans to visit the beach, shifts the girls’ priorities. The stable suddenly seems less compelling.
