Synopsis

A shadow of doubt crossed Tilde's mind: were Charlie and Heaven merely friends, or did a deeper connection exist between them? Heaven herself was adrift in thought, questioning the very distinction between friendship and love. Charlie had observed a change in Heaven; she’d withdrawn from the communal lunches, and now rarely touched her food at all. Was Heaven truly as resilient as she appeared to be?
