Synopsis

Desperate to locate The Lich, Cape, Max, and Rollo turn to Dana’s legal resources for assistance. Orwell, deeply affected by Conrad Chandler’s (The Lich) powerful serum, battles the drug's intense physical and psychological effects. Simultaneously, Netta’s unsettling devotion to The Lich is brought into sharper focus. In a drowsy, weakened condition, Orwell alternates between waking and dreamlike visions, fragments of her past gradually emerging.
