Synopsis

The old man glared across the weathered porch, his gaze fixed on the other. A silent animosity hung in the air, thick with years of unspoken grievances. A feud, really, simmering beneath the surface for an indeterminate time. Both were frail now, their steps slow and their sight dimmed, yet the embers of their rivalry refused to be extinguished. It was time. The Slugfest in Woodcrest was about to begin.
