Synopsis

The Arctic and Antarctic represent an unforgiving realm, where only the hardiest creatures endure. Life stirs anew solely in springtime. Then, plankton blooms burst forth, nourishing vast schools of migrating fish; walruses scour the seabed for clams, while minke and humpback whales feast upon immense krill swarms.
