Synopsis

Viv Martella’s journey to the station is abruptly halted when her car malfunctions, causing her to miss a crucial CID briefing concerning a possible link to an armed robbery. Adding to her frustration, Detective Inspector Frank Burnside removes her from the case. While CID and SO19 maintain a perimeter around the target location, Martella and PC Tony Stamp pursue a seemingly minor investigation – the apprehension of a suspected bag thief. As they wait outside the suspect’s residence, a van arriv
