Synopsis

Dashwood and Lines are investigating a robbery. The witness remains unwilling to provide a statement until the perpetrators are apprehended. Brownlow insists that CID must coordinate with Monroe. A former typist begins her career as a constable. Sergeant Peters is assigned to mentor her. A moment of frustration during vehicle registration checks results in the new constable being recorded on video by Roach and Lines. It is Lines's birthday.
