Synopsis

Carver’s inquiry into a burglary leads him to an unconscious girl at the far end of a garden, surrounded by the stolen goods. Jim confronts the homeowner, accusing him of misrepresenting the extent of the loss. The girl, mentally handicapped, had been missing from her hostel for two months and had been living with a man known for fencing stolen items.
