Synopsis

The body of a homeless woman was discovered on a construction site. Haynes begins an investigation. The cause of death was chlorine gas. The site is managed by a man with a recent conviction for illegal dumping. He had instructed an associate to deposit cleaning agents down a manhole. Meanwhile, Garfield is investigating a discharge of waste near the river when his informant collapses. The fumes affect Garfield as well, leaving him disoriented. The informant died from cyanide poisoning. Dashwood
