Synopsis

Detective Dashwood begins an inquiry after a house recently listed for sale is burglarized. He grows suspicious that potential buyers are involved and obtains descriptions of the couple who have viewed the property from the estate agents. The perpetrators are known to Detective Inspector Burnside, and they are relaying details of the house to their son, who subsequently breaks in. Sergeant Cryer pursues a mugger and escorts the victim back to her flat, which bears the hallmarks of a burglary. It
