Synopsis

W.P.C. Brind was summoned to the residence of Mrs. Lomax, an elderly woman who had recently been the victim of a robbery. The shock of the event overwhelmed her, and she lashed out at Brind before collapsing, succumbing to a heart attack. It seemed a series of burglaries had recently targeted several elderly individuals associated with the Salisbury Day Centre. Brind accompanied Inspector Frazer to deliver a talk on crime prevention.
