Synopsis

Sergeant Cryer introduces two new special constables, Mary Kilnair and Brian Defoe, who will be assisting with the relief efforts. During a patrol with Police Constable Edwards, Kilnair is accidentally pricked by a discarded needle, raising serious fears of a possible infection. Later, a man arrives at the station to confess to a murder committed thirty years prior – the killing of his wife.
