Synopsis

D.C. Carver, recently promoted to CID, is struggling with seasickness aboard the police launch as he and D.S. Roach work a case. The River Police recover the body of a murdered informant from the Thames, but Roach is incensed when the matter is transferred to detectives from Scotland Yard. P.C.
