Synopsis

The news from the hospital was grim for W.P.C. June Ackland; her father was fading. P.C. Taffy Edwards, tardy for parade, found himself assigned to traffic duty. P.C. Jim Carver suffered a physical assault while waiting at a bus stop. Meanwhile, Sgt. Cryer and P.C. Patel were tasked with investigating an allegation of rape. Inspector Kite, in a carefully orchestrated move, was dispatched to collect soil samples following reports of a possible radioactive leak.
