Synopsis

On his walk home after a night out, Callum witnessed an argument between Clarinda Blake and Tim Hardacre in a narrow alley. He intervened when he saw Clarinda in distress, but was subsequently assaulted. Later, during questioning, Clarinda maintained she had been the victim of a mugging. The truth emerged soon after: Clarinda’s son, Andy, had been supplying drugs for Tim, and she had confronted him upon discovering the arrangement. With Tim’s release from custody, Callum resolved to find him.
